Mini Box

So this is a Mini Box that I created to match my Sx4 Recipe Box. I used all of the same details, except the lace, I replaced it with the mini bloomer trim by Maya Road. The cherry blossom and the black rose are I am Roses and the other flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. The bling is recollections from Michaels. Hope you all enjoy!

August Cigar Box

So the theme for the August Box was Girly, Vintage,Grunge, recipe box. I went with the colors black, white, and red because I thought they were very girly. I used black lace, white lace, and rhinestone trim to girly it up some more. When it comes to girly, I think I have it covered. So when I heard the theme the first thing that came to mind was Rockabilly and Pin up, just that classic, sexy, vintage look. I thought of Birdcage veils.lace, and flowers. I hope that I nailed the theme for my sister. I used the Echo Park Paper, Tim Holtz feet, and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. I also created the handle with Tim Holtz grungeboard, and sprayed it with Glimmer Mist, and  I distressed all of the edges with black ink. Hope you all enjoy!

Toilet Paper Mini

Hey ya'll here is a toilet paper mini that I made for my Sx4. I used the Echo Park Apothecary Line. On the cover I used a Tim Holtz ornate plate, a resin rose, and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. Every paper in this mini is from the same line, all of the flowers are WOC, I made my own stick pins, and the trim is Maya Road. Hope she likes it!

Tea Pot Mini Album

Hey ya'll, so I created this mini album kit for my Sx4 as one of her goodies. I used Tim Holtz grunge board to cut out the tea pots, and I used My Minds Eye Stella Rose for the cardstock cut outs. I know that the tea pots are super hot right now, and I wanted something else kinda handmade for her. I hope she enjoys!

Goodies for August Secret Sister

Hey ya'll, so of course I signed up for the August swap with the ladies in the Sx4 group. Our theme for August was a Girly, Vintage, and Grunge Recipe Box, with a challenge of Recipe Cards. So in these photos you can see the cigar box, 5 Recipe Index Cards, a mini box, and a toilet paper mini. I used the Echo Park Apothecary Line (this is their new Halloween line) on all of these items. I'll go more into detail on all of these individually. Hope you all enjoy!

Angel Cigar Box

Hey Ya'll, so I volunteered to be an Angel for Jades Cigar Box Swap. She asked me to make a box for the month of June, and the theme was Sew Retro. I used Prima paper for my background, and I added little touches throughout that I thought went along with sewing. So I added the lace, buttons, crocheted flowers, and hand stitching. I used a Tim Holtz dress form, and I created a dress for it using satin and tulle fabric, with some bloomer trim. Our challenge was to create a pin cushion, and me not being a sewer, I created an alerted pin cushion, and filled it with lots of handmade stick pins. I hope you all enjoy, and please check out my video on youtube.

Banner for Cigar Swap

Hey ya'll, so along with the Cigar Box Swap, we had a challenge to go along with it. It was to create a sign for our partner. We could make it any way that we wished. So I took careful notes from my Secret Sister, and I began creating. She wanted her sign to say her name Rocio, and she wanted it in neutrals with light pinks. So i made my sign to match my cigar box. I used the Echo Park paper line "Be Mine" again. I also did the rolled roses on every other letter. The paper on the background and the letters of her name were all cut out from the same double sided paper Love Letters. I also added some pearls, lace, and flowers to create this beauty. I did use my Cricut cutter for the banner and the letters. Hope you all enjoy!

Secret Squirrel Sisterhood Society Cigar Box Swap

Hey ya'll, so I am so excited, I was able to join the most fabulous group ever! I am now part of the Secret Squirrel Sisterhood Society! I have been lurking in the shadows for a little while now, watching videos and I have searched a million  images of these fabulous cigar boxes. Well for the month of July, Jade posted that the theme was a "Oh La La Paris Wish Box." Well needles to say, this one screamed my name! I thought black and pink all the way, and I knew the perfect paper line for this project.      I chose the Echo Park paper line Be Mine, yes I know what you  are thinking, this IS one paper stash that I have been hoarding, and when I say hoarding, I mean I have 5 packs of the 6x6 stack, and one of the complete 12x12 kits, and about 15 of my favorite 12x12 papers. So after I knew the paper line,I decided to go with the dress from girly look. I love Teresa Collins as well, and she was my inspiration behind the rolled flowers. All of the flowers except the 3
