Learning Curve From A-Z

Hey y’all it’s Courtney here, and today I am sharing my layout for the Learning Curve challenge .  When I saw this challenge I knew that I wanted to use the paper and stickers from Photoplay Paper line called Real Genius. I also used a lot of old My Minds Eye scraps. The tile #Dream is from Pebbles, and the word big came from the Cool Kid Thickers. I really didn’t have a ton of the papers that I really wanted to use, so I decided to grab the   A to Z cut file  from the shop.  This cut file is really intricate, and tried cutting it a few times before I found the perfect setting for my Silhouette. Here’s a picture that I snapped of my settings. Hopefully these settings work for you as well!  Don’t forget to head over to the  Paper Issues Friends and Fans  to join in on all of the fun challenges.

Scraplift Sunday Lil Dude

Hey everybody, it’s Courtney here, and today I am sharing the layout that I created from this weeks #scrapliftsunday.  I was so excited to finally cut into the  Simple Stories line  Lil Dude . This collection is so dang cute!  I was also able to sprinkle in a few elements  from Crate Papers Cool Kid. I’m so in love with this blue background, and how adorable is that dog?!? I used a couple of the 12x12 sheets, the die cut pieces,  puffy stickers, and the 4x6 elements.  The Young n Brave title is one that I have been hoarding  from the Cool Kid Collection.  Here’s a look at the awesome original created by Devra.   I adore her hand written journaling, but I went with the tiny word stickers. Those things always manage to find a place on my layouts. I think my favorite part of her layout was the angles that she created with the two smaller background pieces, they were fun to recreate.  I can’t wait to see how you play along with the group.  Make sure you tag #PaperIssues on Instagram as we

Hello America- PageMaps Sketch

Hey ya’ll, it’s Courtney here, and today I am sharing a layout that I created based on a sketch by  PageMaps .  Here’s a look at the sketch I was provided with.  This sketch made me think about my  Fourth of July pictures that I’ve been waiting  to scrap.    This is what I created I used the adorable Land That I Love line by  Pebbles . I used two 12x12 papers. One as a border, and the other as a mat to my photograph. I also used the sticker sheet, and the border sheet. I created this photo cluster on the app  Pic Frame. I set it at the 2:3 ratio, and chose the 6 photo layout. I also made my border a little larger in order to get the border I wanted.    I print with my Canon Selphy, and use the Canon print app.  When I use it, I print with a border, and then  I cut my picture a little past the perforated edge  that’s on the print. This gives me the  best border around my photo.  This layout was so fun to use. Make sure you  ch
