Family Highlight

In the middle of me making baby shower invites( for 2 showers), Graduation invites, Valentine, and Birthday cards, I had a pretty amazing week! I got to go to my sis in laws 4-D ultra sound with her. The proud daddy is my little brother, and he is currently serving our country as a Proud Marine, and he is stationed in Spain right now. He's been gone her entire pregnancy, but will be back in the states right before she has baby Skyler! So we have all filled in for him as much as we can. My kids and I went to her appointment with her, and I was so excited to see baby Skyler ( he loves to hear my voice, I'm kinda smitten) but this little guy looks just like my brother when he was a baby! He has our big lip and button nose, and his mommas eye shape. We are all truly blessed that we will have baby Skyler in our lives very soon. I'm doing a Sock Monkey baby shower for her, and Im doing a lot with my cricut, so Ill get pics up as soon as I can

Now the adorable cuties are my rotten children, my Emma is super girlie, so I started making tutus for her, and she loves them. And her older brother Gabe is my handful, his daddy cut him a mowhawk and it fits him to a T. He's a little rebel. This is a pic of them playing in the laundry basket. They think its really cool to ride around in it.

You Are Loved- Simple Stories

YOU ARE LOVED! Hey y’all! Courtney here and today I am sharing the layout I created using the So Happy Together collection. This is such a beautiful collection and I wanted to put every single piece in the collection on my layout. I decided to go with a free cut file from Paper Issues so I could use a ton of patterned papers. For backing my cut files I used a variety of pattern papers from the 6x8 paper pad. I love having the smaller prints to use with cut files. I cut my actual cut file on the Happy Heart paper, I am obsessed with anything polka dot and black and white. I cut about an inch ½ inch on each side so I could layer the beautiful Our Story paper behind it. After I filed my cut file, I began laying a ton of ephemera, chipboard and stickers. There is a ton of great images and tiny word phrases. I layered a 4x4 photo that I trimmed down to fit onto the gingham 4x4 card and then I layered it onto the My Family paper. Then I finished my cluster with a w...

Paper Issues-Scraplift Sunday

Hey lovelies, today I am up on the blog sharing what I created for Scraplift Sunday. For my layout I used  Wild Heart by Crate Paper . This collection was so much  fun to use.  Everything except the fussy cut flowers and puffy gold hearts came from the Wild Heart line. I just love how the green and pink went to together so well.  For this Scraplift we lifted Kelly’s awesome layout.  Can’t wait to see how you play along!
