Trying out for the Carta Bella Design Team

Hey all,

I know it's been forever since I posted last, but I'm wanting to get back into it. So I'm trying my hand at auditioning for the Carta Bella Design Team. Who knows what will happen, but I threw my hat in the ring. So I just wanted to share a few things that I created using their products (which are amazing by the way!) These are the three collective projects that I did. I made a Fall Banner, a cute monster birthday card, and a pocket page. I love the way they all turned out regardless of making the team (fingers crossed that I do, so I can share some more amazing goodies). I'll do an individual post on each item to showcase the products I used! Until then, happy memory making!

Wacky Wednesday Challenge- More then Favors

Hey everybody, so I made this project for the blog challenge at www.morethanfavors.blogspot.com/. Her wacky Wednesday Challenge is to make something Valentine themed. So I came up with this cute little Mini Monster Card. I used some $1 paper from target, and some digital paper. On the inside it says " I love you THIS much! My Happy- Simple Stories

MY HAPPY! Hey y’all! Courtney here and I am sharing my last layout as a Design Team member. I’m using the collection, Hey Crafty Girl. I found it only fitting to highlight my two Design Team announcements from last year. I knew that I wanted a colorful layout, so I picked the Crafty & Happy paper. Instead of just using it as is I decided to use a cut file from Paper Issues called Just a Few Bumps in the Road, and I cut it in black.i wanted all of the colors to really pop against it. I cut my pattern paper down to fill my cut file in rainbow order. I was super excited to see all of the embellishments that I could use to color block on my layout. I layered my photos on some dot paper and a 4x6 card to match the collection. I went through every embellishment and matched them with their color and chose wanted I wanted to keep on my layout.
