Wish Upon a Star

Hey, Y'all Courtney here and today I'm showing Y'all a look at a mini album that I created for the #makeawish challenge.  I decided to go with a mini album for this challenge.

There are several videos on YouTube that show you the dimensions and how to create it.
I just YouTubed folio the album and I tweaked it to what suited me. I absolutely love how this turned out!

When you first open the album it's a gate fold, and each page has a 4x6 flip out for a photo or journaling. I mixed Echo Park's Magical Adventure and Simple Stories' Say Cheese lines to complete this album.

The front has two inside pockets that are perfect for 4x6 photos or extra keepsakes and the first page is great for journaling and a photo. The next few pages are set up an as good decoration or awesome places to add photos. This album is packed full of photo space.

Under the right flip out you have an accordion pocket and the left of that you have the pocket pages for even more photos. As I said, there is a ton of room for photos, ephemera, and extra keepsakes.

I can't wait to see how you play long!

My Happy- Simple Stories

MY HAPPY! Hey y’all! Courtney here and I am sharing my last layout as a Design Team member. I’m using the collection, Hey Crafty Girl. I found it only fitting to highlight my two Design Team announcements from last year. I knew that I wanted a colorful layout, so I picked the Crafty & Happy paper. Instead of just using it as is I decided to use a cut file from Paper Issues called Just a Few Bumps in the Road, and I cut it in black.i wanted all of the colors to really pop against it. I cut my pattern paper down to fill my cut file in rainbow order. I was super excited to see all of the embellishments that I could use to color block on my layout. I layered my photos on some dot paper and a 4x6 card to match the collection. I went through every embellishment and matched them with their color and chose wanted I wanted to keep on my layout. I also used a 4c6 photo photo flip so I could add my design team pictures. I added some enamel dots from multiple coll...
