A Little Pick Me Up with Scraplift Sunday

Hey Paper Issues Friends and Fans!

It’s Courtney here, sharing for this weeks #ScrapliftSunday.

For this week, we are taking inspiration from the awesome Rachel O’Neal.

I totally fell in love with how she used different sized circles all over the page, and the word phrases sprinkled throughout her layout. I wanted to lift something similar, but give it my own touch, and I’m so happy with the way it turned out!

For this layout I used the new line from
Pink Paislee line by Paige Evans called Pick Me Up.

I love this line! It has a great mixture of papers that I can use for my boys or my daughter.
I used the 6x6 paper pad to create my circles, to mat my photo, and I used Paper # 16. I also used the ephemera pack, and puffy stickers.

After I matted the photo with one sheet, I decided to add some acrylic paint, to give it some more dimension without overshadowing this awesome picture of my daughter.
I then added my word veneer phrases,
and hearts.
Lastly, I had to add my usual enamel dots, glitter washi, sequins, and tiny word stickers.

Thanks for stopping by, don’t forget to play along with the
PIFF group on Facebook, and share those projects! I can’t wait to see what you create!

You Are Loved- Simple Stories

YOU ARE LOVED! Hey y’all! Courtney here and today I am sharing the layout I created using the So Happy Together collection. This is such a beautiful collection and I wanted to put every single piece in the collection on my layout. I decided to go with a free cut file from Paper Issues so I could use a ton of patterned papers. For backing my cut files I used a variety of pattern papers from the 6x8 paper pad. I love having the smaller prints to use with cut files. I cut my actual cut file on the Happy Heart paper, I am obsessed with anything polka dot and black and white. I cut about an inch ½ inch on each side so I could layer the beautiful Our Story paper behind it. After I filed my cut file, I began laying a ton of ephemera, chipboard and stickers. There is a ton of great images and tiny word phrases. I layered a 4x4 photo that I trimmed down to fit onto the gingham 4x4 card and then I layered it onto the My Family paper. Then I finished my cluster with a w...
