Hey y’all, it’s  Courtney  here, and today I’m sharing my layout for the August challenge #Summer Lovin’. I was excited to do this layout even though I don’t have a ton of fun Summer photos for this year since I just had a baby in June, but I do have a few that need to be scrapped.   I wanted this layout to be super bright and fun.  I knew that I wanted to use the adorable Summer Lovin’ by  Doodlebug Design . I used the 6x6 paper pack to mat the awesome  triangle burst  cut file from the shop. All I did was add an offset, and cut it in white. I hand cut all of the mats, which didn’t take to long, and was worth it.  I used the super cute cardstock stickers, some of the glitter sprinkles, and a few items from the So Punny sticker sheet to add the cute little touches to it. Hey y’all, it’s Courtney here, and today I’m sharing my layout for the Working with Watercolors Challenge.  I really loved getting messy and using a few different types of paints to create this layout.                             For the mixed media I used three Tim Holtz distressed oxides in cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, and salty ocean. I also used tattered rose in the original distress inks, as well as a hot pink and purple in my cheap water color set. Of course you can’t have a mixed media page without  Heidi Swapp gold color shine.  As for the paper and embellishments I used a combination of Imagine That Girl by Echo Park and Stay Colorful by  Dear Lizzy. I also used this  gorgeous flower   cut file from the shop. I hope you play along with the group, and I can’t wait  to see what you create. 

Hey Friends!  I’m up on the blog today sharing what I’ve created  with the fun free cut file  You and Me .  This awesome file was so easy to use, and I loved  backing it with a few different    Papers by Crate Paper .  I thought they went perfect with the file cut out  in black, and I added a few fun Crate Paper embellishments. I kept it pretty simple, but I don’t feel like this layout looks simple at all.  Thanks for stopping by! Hey Friends!  Today I am up on the blog sharing my layout for the  Dads Are Rad challenge.  I absolutely loved creating something different  then what I typically do, and when I saw this challenge, I knew exactly what line to use.    Dad Style by Bella Blvd  was just perfect  for the look I was going for.  I used a combination of the 12 x 12 paper Grandpa's Pocket Watch to fussy the cut the clocks,  and I popped some of them up on foam tape.   I used the sticky sheet to add all of the awesome words to describe the Rad Dad in my life,  and then the border sheet to add a little balance  to the page.  The background paper is already distressed looking,  but I couldn’t help myself and had to add a little  Heidi Swapp color shine in gold.  Can’t wait to see what you create with the June Challenges!  Don’t forget to use code Courtney when checking ...

Hey all, today I’m sharing a fun layout that I created  for Paper Issues challenge free cute file.  Free you say? Who doesn’t love  free?!? Today I am showing you what I created with a free cut file from the shop.  For this layout I used the free cut file  thick paint alpha . I absolutely love using cut files, they make your stash stretch even longer!  I cut my letters out at about 2 inches, and then backed each one with Bella Blvd’s Secret of the Sea 6x8 paper pad. As for my background, I did a little mixed media work using some of the  Tim Holtz distress oxide’s .  This was such a fun layout to do, and I can’t wait to see what you create over on the PIFF Facebook group.
